I’ve been trying to lose weight for quite a while now.
I go to the gym 5-6 days out of the week for at least an hour each time, and I have a very strict diet, why am I not losing weight? My sister has been doing the same thing but she’s been dropping the weight so easily and fast. I don’t know why I am not losing weight like she is. I know that everyone’s body is different and it can take longer for certain people but this has been going on for a long time. Can anyone help me? Maybe some suggestions on what to do?
I drink at least eight glasses of water a day, about 1000 calories a day, no more than 1500, and I cut my carbs down a LOT. Also, I try not to eat or drink anything that has a lot of sugar.

I’ve heard that toxins store themselves in fat cells so when you lose weight they end up going back into the blood stream. Would this make a normal 8 week detox take longer than that to complete if i was losing 3 stone in fat at the same time?

I am 5 ft 6, a 17 year old girl and at the beginning of 2008 i weighed 138 lbs. I am now 117 lbs. The thing is my period are becoming irregular. Is this normal? Like one month i didn’t get one at all and often they’re late now.

boom_man7 asked: I am 18 and have been overweight ever since i can remember. The past few years I’ve really been trying to lose weight but just can’t stay motivated. While living at home I have no control over what my parents buy to eat. When they buy junk food I just can’t get myself to resist it 100%. My basic meals and everything are usually pretty good, its just the stuff I eat in between, even when I’m not hungry.
So my quesiton is to anyone who has gone through this. How did you stay motivated while losing weight. Is there a good way to stay disciplined and not eat a bunch of crap all the time even when its there. I know if I can do these things I can reach my goals. Any suggestions?

The baby is 1 yr. old, is often hungry, and eats a lot of food. Regular bowel movements after every meal. He has not been gaining weight for three months, and now he is losing weight. The doctor says his size and growth are normal. I would like to try a natural approach if possible. Do enzymes help babies’ bodies utilize food? Any experience or suggestion is welcome.
