peanut butter good or bad for losing weight?

I hear a lot of people say that peanut butter is great for losing weight because of the protein and whatever else is in it. I have a couple of friends that are wrestlers that say it has the bad protein in it and you should never eat peanut butter when trying to lose weight and that it just puts on weight. What do you think?

    For you differently eat peanut butter that the sugared up ones and love itbut eat jif which does have sugar but dont care workout days week.
