Will losing alot of weight affect the appearance of a tattoo?

Losing Weight
Deedlebug18 asked:

I’m going to get a new tattoo around my arm. I’m in the process of losing weight. Will losing a considerable amount of weight affect a tattoo I get on my arm? Or should I weight until I’m down to prepregnancy weight?

Yeah your tattoo will become distorted. Better to wait until you’re at your ideal weight. And then your tattoo will have even more meaning as a celebtration of the hot new you!

Not only loss of weight will affect the appearance of a tattoo, old age will devastate it, as the skin creases and loosens up.
